Description

Organic Spirulina Powder | Pure Protein & Nutrient Powerhouse

Our organic Spirulina is more than just a superfood — it’s the food of the future. Sustainably grown on a tropical island off mainland China, this incredible algae flourishes under natural sunshine, in pure air, and nourished by fresh mountain spring water. Cultivated in a controlled environment (not wild lakes), it’s free from contamination risks and carefully lab-tested for purity.

  • No pesticides, no chemical additives — just pure, natural nutrition.

  • Independently verified for quality and safety at every step.

Spirulina is the name given to two strains of spiral-shaped algae: Arthrospira Platensis and Arthrospira Maxima, which thrive in subtropical and tropical waters. Known as a blue-green algae, its vibrant colour comes from a combination of chlorophyll (the green pigment found in plants) and phycocyanin, a unique blue pigment with powerful antioxidant properties and potential to support blood health.

This amazing algae has been trusted for decades and offers a phenomenal nutritional profile:

  • 60–70% complete protein, making it one of the most concentrated and digestible protein sources on the planet — up to five times easier to digest than meat or soy!

  • Supplies protein for 128 times more people than beef, making it a brilliant sustainable protein solution.

  • Contains all eight essential amino acids, supporting tissue repair and daily vitality.

  • Rich in iron, which contributes to normal energy production and healthy blood.

  • Provides essential B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B12) to fuel metabolism and support the nervous system.

  • High in vitamin A, supporting vision and skin health.

  • Bursting with chlorophyll for natural cleansing and revitalisation.

  • Packed with phycocyanin, a rare antioxidant pigment unique to spirulina.

  • Delivers essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, and zinc.

  • Contains essential fatty acids, including rare GLA (gamma-linolenic acid).

  • Rich in phytonutrients, enzymes, and trace elements, offering broad-spectrum nourishment.

  • Naturally high in antioxidants, supporting overall cellular health.

Spirulina isn’t just a nutrient-dense powerhouse — it’s a genuine solution for global food sustainability. Requiring minimal land and water, it’s a future-forward choice for conscious eaters and anyone looking to elevate their daily routine with vibrant, plant-based energy.

Future-ready nutrition in a powder.

Further Information

Spirulina algae is not typically considered raw, unless you’re lucky enough to find it fresh. During production, the algae droplets are sprayed into a drying chamber, where they undergo a flash evaporation process at temperatures of around 180°C to 220°C for just a few seconds. As the water rapidly evaporates, the dry powder continues to fall through the chamber, exposed to heat for a few more seconds before reaching an output temperature of approximately 70°C to 90°C.

How To Use

  • Spirulina has a strong, slightly fishy taste, which can be tricky to mask — but we’ve got some favourite ways to enjoy it!

  • Add to soups, salad dressings, and other savoury dishes for an easy nutrient boost.

  • Blend into green smoothies, and sweeten with a splash of fresh apple juice — this is a great trick for children!

  • Mix with fruits like banana, and use to make fruit wraps for a fun, nutritious snack.

  • Start with 1 teaspoon a day, and gradually build up to 1–2 tablespoons daily as your body gets used to it.

  • Find lots of innovative ways to use Spirulina in Kate's books.
