For every tree that you plant, we will match your generosity by planting another tree. This means your donation now has twice the impact in helping to restore our precious ecosystems.
We’ve partnered with Trees for Life, a multi-award-winning conservation charity dedicated to saving the Caledonian Forest in the Scottish Highlands. For over 25 years, they’ve worked alongside thousands of volunteers to revive this ancient woodland and protect the wildlife that calls it home.
How Your Donation Helps
🌲 Your tree will be planted in our dedicated Grove — a living testament to your generosity. Check it out here. 🌳 Trees for Life will plant your tree alongside other native species, transforming open hillsides into flourishing young woodland. 🐿️ This restored habitat will become home to wildlife such as red squirrels, black grouse, capercaillie, pine martens, and golden eagles.
Creating a Natural Forest
The Caledonian Forest is a rich ecosystem made up of over 30 native tree species. Your tree will be a locally grown sapling, selected to thrive in the environment. Possible species include:
Alder
Aspen
Birch
Bird Cherry
Hazel
Holly
Rowan
Scots Pine
Willow
To maintain the integrity of this wild landscape, trees are planted sporadically to mimic natural distribution, and no individual trees are marked or labelled. This ensures the forest develops as a true reflection of nature’s design.
